The text on the red sign reads "cycle lane closed […] mopeds and cyclists dismount". If we ignore the fact that mopeds are prohibited from using cycle lanes anyway and therefore shouldn't be mentioned on this sign at all, this sign sends completely the wrong message to all road users by suggesting that the cycle lane was compulsory when in operation, that moving 50 cm into the road is so dangerous that it's best to dismount, etc. …and then what?; dismount and walk your bike, in the road, around the roadworks before remounting? This sign should be removed promptly. (Sorry about the poor quality; I've switched phones, you see. Taken from a Citi 1 bus.)
