The alleyway between Richmond Road and Windsor Road is restricted at each end by a set of 3 railings. It is very tricky to negotiate through the narrow gaps between the railings with a bike trailer or cargo bike, and even "normal" bikes have a tight turn to make.

Many families use this route as it is handy for both Mayfield School and Histon Road Rec, and it seems perverse to exclude family-size bicycles unnecessarily.
