Cyclists and pedestrians having to make way for motor vehicles on what should be a segregated facility...
Not sure this was Cycle Colchester's idea of 'Share the Space', but this is the reality when Kings Meadow is opened up for use as a car park.
Surely the events using the field and abusing the path should make a contribution to the upkeep of it. Motor vehicles will do far more long term damage than any number of pedestrians or cyclists, yet when it was resurfaced last year it was funded by Cycling Town. This photo was taken during the Cricket Festival, when non-members were charged £5 per car.
