Eight Sheffield cycle stands were removed* from the High Street (see #17765) at the end of March, 2015, to make way for Colchester Market, which would be moving there, Fri - Sun. No alternative provision was planned at that time, and still (July, 2015) there is nothing in place in that area.

The application (www.planning.colchester.gov.uk/WAM/doc/Application%20Form-2056629.pdf), in November, 2014, made no reference to cycle parking. See the full case file here: www.planning.colchester.gov.uk/WAM/findCaseFile.do.

An ideal solution, for Mon - Thurs at least, would be a Cyclehoop Car Bike Port (www.cyclehoop.com/product/bike-racks-and-cycle-stands/car-bike-port/), or Car Bike Port Lite.
