An internal car park road yields to the cycle path, and is closed off with bollards when not in use.

The new Avon Way shared pathway is nice and wide but spoiled by the lack of priority over side roads which lead to a dead end. In this case it is a blind corner so progress is very much hampered.

Amazingly pedestrians and cyclists have priority over motor vehicles here. Probably because the road only leads to an overflow carpark that is rarely used and therefore doesn't affect traffic flow.
