Obstructive bollards have been removed over Hythe Bridge.

A most obstructive and unnecessarily complex "gate" has finally been removed from NCN Route 51. Just a shame the route cannot continue traffic-free instead of joining the road at Haddon Park.

Two simple bollards replace an obstructive "gate" along NCN Route 51.

Entrance to the Bourne Valley footpath. The entrance already has provision for cyclists it seems, although the rest of it would need changes before cycling is feasible.

Entrance to the Bourne Valley footpath from Stalin Road. It and Distillery Lane could form a nice route to the Hythe.

At the bottom of the hill on the new High Woods pathway. Notice the bizarre signing: cyclists are expected to crane their neck sideways to read the route directions.

Unclear what these signs are there for, the road and pavement is surely not for the exclusive use of cyclists. Left leads to a useful cut-through to Northern Approach, and right goes to Turner Road.

This style of sign is unique to the hospital and unclear quite what it means.
