Not sure what this cyclists dismount sign is for. Tiny private access road that the cycleway crosses. https://t.co/qKfhZAd3Qm
Route sign for lit route to town centre. The path over the bridge is lit, but not the route through Castle Park or the riverside walk.
A bit messy, but the footbridge across Turner Road from #88392 comes down here, and cycling across it is allowed.
An 'End of Route' sign marks the end of this cycle route, but another route starts on the footway across the road. It can't be related to this one, can it?
A shared-use footway around the Albert Roundabout, but what happens around the corner? Does the lack of an 'End of Route' sign imply it continues, or should cyclists go back onto the road?
A route sign for the route to the right on a square post, but only stickers for the route straight ahead through the tunnel.
Cycle Colchester installed a sign here (see #27145) but it has since been removed (or fallen/forced over) and not been replaced... nor has the tree that was there before!
New route sign painted onto the path on the corner of Hunters Ridge and Chinook, for Country Park, North Station, and Town Centre.
New route sign in High Woods Country Park. Shame it is in the style of others in the park (see #20045) and the Garrison (see #21932), that require the ability to read sideways.
New route sign on the corner of Boadicea Way and Layer Road. No mention of town centre on the sign, and no sign of a toucan crossing on Layer Road (see #26298).
New route sign on Straight Road. Okay from this direction, but from the other, the white sign pointing the same way attached to the lampost obscures it.
New route sign for the University in Swan Close. Seems like a curious angle, but suppose it's clear enough.
New route sign for Town centre, alongside one of the View Finder Trail pictures, on the corner of Kings Meadow.
New route sign on the Salary Brook path, for University, Longridge, Greenstead centre, Hythe station, and Town centre.
Route signs around the Garrison have had new timed signs and "finials" attached to their stem. Why does the Council think it's okay for cyclists to crane their head to one side to read a sign?
New route sign for Maypole Green and Friday Woods at entrance to the Southway subway. It's missing the Garrison.
New route signs for the Garrison, Maypole Green, Friday Woods, and Town centre, on Circular Road South. Abbey Field to the right.
New route signs for the Garrison, Maypole Green, Friday Woods around Abbey Field, and Town centre under the subway. Hard to see from Circular Road North, Flagstaff Road, and Circular Road East.
New route sign for Greenstead Centre, and pre-existing North Station one, on St. Andrews Avenue. There needs to be a Town Centre route sign facing Alyssum Walk.
New route signs for Salary Brook (right) and Longridge (ahead), on Avon Way. There needs to be another sign for Greenstead centre, Hythe station, and Town centre for continuation from #21933.
Inconsistent route signing in Peto Avenue, on the High Woods route: this sign lists the Business park and Community Stadium, but the Country park has been dropped since the last sign (only metres away - see #21173).
New route signs painted onto the pathway at the entrance to High Woods Country Park. The arrow pointing into the park should have been painted onto the road, as cyclists won't be able to read it (or see it) on approach due to the building … [more]
New route sign for Town Centre, replacing an 'End of Route' sign (#19735). The 'End of Route' sign on other side of the road remains (#19736).
Finally a new route sign for the High Woods route. When the tree in front of it is in bloom, the sign will likely be difficult to spot.
Warning sign on Norman Way. The Cycle Lane sign should be arrowed both left and right, as Lexden Road (ahead) has a cycle lane in both directions.
Route signs to Town Centre, Institute and North Station. Who are they trying to kid? See #19739 for the town centre destination and #19738 for the Institute.
Route sign for Town Centre, Friday Wood, and Roman Camp. It is the last useful sign for Friday Wood, as the route is incomplete.
